Features
The Centre’s resources include video and sound recording post-production facilities, multimedia digital image treatment facilities with, for those artists who wish to, opportunities to hire specialist technicians.
1/ Postproduction studio editing workshop using the Final Cut PRO HD 5 system. Compatible with DV/DV cam, HDV, DVC Pro 25/50 and DVC Pro HD.
2/ Sound recording, editing and post-production studio workshop using Pro Tools HD 2 professional.
3/ Multimedia and digital image treatment workshop, including interactive multimedia, digital image retouching, web design, CD-Rom publishing, etc.
Can Xalant has spaces available for hire which can be used as video and photographic studios or as multipurpose spaces for one-off projects.
Application
Documentation
To edit videos at Can Xalant’s spaces using any one of the three different formats, applicants need to present a written proposal which includes:
- Application file and curriculum vitae of the person or people responsible for the project
- Description and summary
- Timetable for editing and/or recording
- Editing requirements
- Recording format
- Duration of recorded material and approximate duration of finished video
- Contact details of the person responsible for the project
Finished videos should state that they were produced at Can Xalant and bear the Centre’s logo.
