Miquel García Barcelona, 1975
Lives and works between Barcelona and Lisbon. He studied at the Massana School and the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona. He uses video, sculptures and jewellery among other languages in his works. He has carried out specific projects and works engaged in processes, together with workshops and seminaries. His works have been shown in Barcelona, Lisbon and Sarajevo. He was finalist in the Miquel Casablancas Prize in 2001, and chosen in 1999 to represent Barcelona in the Young European Artists and Mediterranean Biennial. Recently, his work was shown in the 2005 edition of the Video Art Loop Festival in Barcelona.
